Meet the Certified Piedmontese Team! Dave Pavlik, Sales Representative
In this installment of our employee spotlight series, we’re shining the light on Dave Pavlik, our affable Certified Piedmontese sales representative.
Q: As a sales representative, what are your main duties?
Dave: I make sure customers’ needs are met and pursue new business in my territory. I get in touch with my customers each week and see how their business is doing, find out how the product is performing, and how customers are responding to it. I also respond to any questions or concerns they might have.
Q: What do you enjoy most about your position?
Dave: I enjoy getting to meet and work with great people as well as traveling all over the country and seeing new places. My favorite place to visit is Fort Worth, Texas. It’s a really cool town with lots of fun places to eat and drink. There’s also live music everywhere you go, which is awesome.
Q: What do you like most about Certified Piedmontese?
Dave: I like that we get to sell such a unique product and do it by working with great people here in Nebraska. From our farms and ranches to the offices in Lincoln, we all get to take part in a family-owned business that does things the right way.
Q What’s your favorite cut of Certified Piedmontese beef, and what’s your favorite way to prepare it?
Dave: My favorite cut is the flat iron with just a little oil, sea salt, and pepper. I put it in the oven before searing it in a cast iron skillet.
Q: What are 3 things most people don’t know about you?
Dave: I love watching college football (especially the Huskers) and hockey (especially the Colorado Avalanche). I’ve been to some hockey games in Denver, and NHL games live are electric. My favorite movie is Lonesome Dove. I love music; classic rock is my favorite. My top artists are Tom Petty, Van Halen, The Beatles, Queen, and The Rolling Stones.
Q: I’m happiest when…
Dave: I’m surrounded by my family and friends doing things I love, like hunting for waterfowl or eating great food. My mom’s cooking is the best; she’s Italian, and everything she makes is to die for.
