All Certified Piedmontese cattle are humanely-raised and responsibly-handled on ranches across the Midwest, where they spend most of their lives grazing open grasslands. They’re NEVER given antibiotics, steroids, hormones, or animal by-products. The cattle are finished on a pure-vegetarian diet of quality grains, most of which are grown by the ranchers who raise them. Because all Certified Piedmontese beef is source verified by Where Food Comes From—an accredited, third-party food certification provider—you can trust exactly how and where it was raised.

Grass Fed, Grass Finished Certified Piedmontese Beef

Conventional grass fed, grass finished beef has a reputation for being lean and healthy, but not necessarily the most tender and delicious beef available. Certified Piedmontese grass fed, grass finished beef defies convention with its melt-in-your-mouth tenderness and bold flavor—a natural result of the Piedmontese breed.

Certified Piedmontese grass fed, grass finished cattle, like all Certified Piedmontese cattle, are raised on open rangelands where ranchers follow an all-natural protocol and never give the cattle hormones, steroids, antibiotics, or animal by-products. The big difference is that grass fed, grass finished cattle are never fed grain; instead they’re finished using a healthy and balanced forage-based diet.


The diet of the cattle takes the nutrition of Certified Piedmontese grass fed, grass finished beef to new heights. It’s even leaner than our standard Certified Piedmontese beef—which is already leaner and more tender than other breeds—providing health-conscious customers a beef product that’s low in fat and calories, packed with nutrition, and exceedingly tender and flavorful. The Dynasty Selection

The Certified Piedmontese Dynasty selection offers all of the attributes of Certified Piedmontese beef, including the combination of leanness and tenderness—only amplified. This exclusive offering of beef cuts hail from our exclusive herd of purebred Piedmontese cattle. Traditionally, purebred Piedmontese bulls are cross-bred to produce Certified Piedmontese beef. For the Dynasty Selection, purebred Piedmontese bulls are bred with purebred Piedmontese cows to produce a truly authentic Piedmontese beef that’s raised with expertise, diligence, and the utmost care. Cattle from our purebred herd that produces the Dynasty Selection are DNA tested for two copies of the Piedmontese gene.
